Think Pink

Sunglasses: Loft | Blouse: INC. (Old) | Dress (worn as skirt): Velvet Torch (Old) | Sandals: Steve Madden
Bracelet: Juicy Couture | Bag: Ralph Lauren

In honor of October and Brest Cancer Awareness Month, I decided to wear a pinkish, orange, and grayish ensemble. I saw this blouse in my mommas closet and decided to snag it for the day. It is so flowery, flowy, and lovely-plus it matched my dress! Tip: Always try to find other functions for your clothes as I did here making the dress become a skirt.

The setting for the pictures was absolutely breathless! From the spanning oceanic views, to the large structures and somewhat overgrown green plants. But what made the view even more breathless was the fact that it was sunny. Lately it has been gloomy and rainy and not my favorite type of weather so when I found out today would be a sunny day I picked up these happy colors!
Hope everyone has an easy Monday!xx

Business meets Equestrian

Lipstick: Topshop Rio Rio | Blazer: Nautica (old) | Shirt: Loft | Belt: Hollister | Jeans: American Eagle | Boots: Cathy Jean
Bag: Nordstrom B.P. (Gifted) | Bracelet: Juicy Couture

Hi Guys! How are you? I haven't been blogging for a little while now so when I my parents and I decided to go out I felt that I needed to document this outfit. I was planning to photograph it a while ago but had no time due the joys of homework. Woo!

Well I just felt that I should mention that I took these photos at a home improvement store with many people giving me strange looks. I could not help but burst out in to laughter because all of the peoples expressions were so priceless. Some of them looked a bit baffled and others tried to pretend nothing strange was going on around them. And I'll admit, it was kind of a strange thing.

Anyways... I truly adore this outfit because it is so classy and can work for pretty much any occasion! All the pieces are basic pieces that can mix and match to work with any outfit. I also kept the color palette simple and basic so it would not be a distraction from my new absolute favorite lip colour in the world (Topshops Rio Rio)! I completely recommend it! I have been scouring all the stores for my perfect red lipstick and it has finally landed in my lap. I am so happy about it because it is a bold and fun new choice. I think Im gonna try to trend it. We'll see what happens. Something that is for sure trending right now is jeweled and studded necklines and colloar. This trend is also fun and it works just like a statement necklace but on your shirt! Yay! What fun!

Have a good rest of your weekend!xx

A Color Story: Autumn Leaves-A Mix of Deep Oranges

Autumn Leaves

Hello all! Hope you started your week of smoothly! Unfortunately for me, I have gotten a case of the snuffles:( My head has been pounding and my throat has been throbbing. Also I have ended up putting myself under a pile of homework, projects, and tests lately...not literally though! I think I sound a bit pessimistic, oh well, I guess it is just not a happy day for me.

On a bit of a lighter and more happier note, here is the color of the month! Woohoo! As the leaves begin to change colors and pumpkin flavored everything hits the stores, you bring on the layers, and orange is a must! Practically everything in October is a deep orange plus, pops of orange anywhere in your wardrobe is super fun and has a little element of surprise. I am going to be scouring the stores for my perfect autumn orange piece! What will you do with this color? Leave a comment below:)

Lets be Bold

Sunglasses: Loft | Blouse: Old Navy | Jeans: Hollister | Shoes: Keds

Have you ever done something so bold, so insane that you would have never imagine yourself to do?
I can tell you I have. I am quite a shy person so this super bold cheetah print and these very bright raspberry hued jeans were a rather bold choice and all came by surprise when I decided to pair it up. Everything was running trough mind-what would people think, what would they say? I felt uncomfortable. Once I decided to stop caring about what others thought and only focused on myself and on my own opinion, I was so confident. I felt on top on the world and now I know to NEVER EVER try to impress others to try to be in the "it group" or with "that guy".  People should only like you for you and who you are as a person, not for who you are wearing or some fake persona that you created to try to fit in. You should showcase the best version of yourself to the world. YOUR style should be about you and what YOU want to say to the word about yourself. I guess the point I am trying to make is don't change for someone other than yourself and that personal style is what you want the world to know about yourself. Well, thats my food for thought (I think thats what it is called) for the night. Have a good rest of the week!

Leather N' Lace

Headband: Landeau | Collared Necklace: Nordstrom B.P. | Jacket: Denyll | Shirt: Forever 21 (old) | Shorts: Mimi Chica | Boots: Steve Madden

I have been obsessing over lace shots for quite some time now and I was so excited when my cousins and I found these shorts over at Marshalls. Score! At first I had no idea how to style them but after a little bit of searching, I found numerous ways to wear them. Lace shorts are super cute and super girly. They can be dressed up with light pink and some pearls or toughened up with a leather jacket and combat boots. In this post I leaned a bit more to toughening it up. I really really adore the delicate nature of these shorts and how much lovely detailing they have in them. Wee! Still soaking up the sun while it lasts:) Happy Mondayxx
