Boy meets Girl

Shirt: Rubbish | Jeans: American Eagle | Shoes: Converse | Bag: Ralph Lauren
Necklace: Nordstrom B.P. | Bracelets: Israel

I have recently aided my collars obsession with this amazing collar necklace from Nordstrom B.P. Its so amazing because you can pair it with any item and wollah! You instantly have a new piece! It is so conventional, you can put it underneath other collars (as pictured) or add it to a solid or graphic shirt to add some interest and fun. I have been eyeing this chambray top for quite sometime now and am glad to say I finally own it! This piece as well is super conventional,  you can belt it, tie it, unbutton it, or wear it plain, with virtually anything! The jeweled collar and pink cross-body add a touch of femininity to this top to not make it look so masculine. Well thats all for today! Happy weekendxx

As promised, here is my collage on animal prints. I tried to keep the prints under control by adding a few different colors to the mix so it would not be too overwhelming on the eyes. I usually like to go with realistic looking animal prints so it doesn't look tacky, crazy, or weird. But if you are going to do a colorful animal print, I would DEFIANTLY recommend sticking to a small print.

Ahh, the week is finally over but it still feels like a Monday for me. I have TONS of homework to do over the weekend and a bunch of quizzes next week. Yay me! Off to work, well more work! Happy weekend for everyone else, enjoy it for me! :)xx
Oh yea, this was made on Polyvore. Follow me leahla.

Prepster Academy

Top: Old Navy | Shorts: Hollister | Shoes: Converse | Glasses: Ernest Hemingway
Pink Bracelet: Target | Red Bracelets: Israel
Jacket: Nautica (old) | Earrings: Tiffany's

Again I am in black and white. Whoopdedoo. Im telling you black and white are the two most basic colors that you NEED to have in your closet, but you all probably know that. I decided not to add any bright colors to the mix to keep the look clean, simple and chic. I really like the top because thin stripes are a girls best friend! (in my case, one of my best friends) And then there is the cheese. Also, just a heads up, strips are really in this season and so are animal print. I'll put up an animal print collage up later :) Happy Dayxx

Princess of Persia

Earrings: Tiffany's | Shirt: Chloe K. | Jeans: Hollister | Shoes: Steve Madden

Peter Pan says Hi! and...sorry for the creases!

Im not really a big fan on dark colors or colors that look a little greyish or dull, but when I saw this shirt I instantly fell in love with it and had to get it. I also really like the design on it too, it kind of reminds me of a Persian rug or something. I like how intricate and detailed it is, and its like wearing a painting on your body! How cool is that!? (And the cheese kicks in) The back of the shirt also has the same design and has a little keyhole at the top with a blue button to add a touch of cuteness. Wee.

Anyways, even though school just started two days ago, my teachers have already started up on piling  the homework on us so nowadays I tend to have loads to do. I guess thats what I get for deciding to take AP and honors classes. It would help if I remembered all my assignments but unfortunately I cant because I haven't gotten a planner yet :( Well have a good Wednesday everyone!xx

Black and White

Shirt: Forever 21 (old) | Skirt: Free Hug | Necklace: Loft | Bag: Nordstom (old) | Shoes: Tory Burch (old)

Black and white are my go to colors when it comes to casual wear or dressy items, and if i cant think of any outfit ideas as well.  BUT you should always (if you want) ...yes, that was contradictory, add a bit of color to a black and white outfit to add interest to the look and to not blend in with a wall. I added a cute little disco like necklace to my ensembles to add a little pizzaz and it also lit up the room even though I was outside! I am just soo cheesy!

Well anyways, today was the first day of school for me :( but it actually ended up being very fun! Seeing everyone again, meeting my new teachers,  getting my locker, but this was no ordinary day, they brought us to the beach! Yay! Summer was fun while it lasted but now I'm going back into school mode. Hoot Hoot! And the train takes off. Hope everyone has an amazing rest of the summer if your not at school yet! O yea, and Happy Monday! xx

Prima Ballerina

Bow Headband: Landau | Jeweled Headband: Nordstrom
Shirt: English Rose | Jeans: Hollister | Shoes: Steve Madden
Pearl Necklace: Gifted

When I look at this outfit I immediately think super cute, super sweet, super girly, super pink. I think I am starting to adore pinks again...I used to hate pink as a child, but slowly (and surely) it's been growing on me:) (not literally though;)) Well anyway, I love this color because it totally reminds me of a ballerina and how beautiful and graceful they are...if only I still danced. I found this lovely shirt at a local boutique called Fringe where they sell a lot of new trending clothes. My momma picked it out and  I instantly fell in love with it. I love how it flows and how there are so many different parts to it. Everything is so colorful there, I love it! Well I just used love quite a few times. I chose to pair my look with a darling pearl necklace I got from my grandmother because you can never, ever go wrong with pearls! They are just so classy! (I sound cheesy) Yay cheese!

A Color Story: Sea Foam, Blues, & Greens

Elephant: Dominican Republic. | Rings: Dominican Republic. | Nail polish: OPI Matte Gargantuan Green

Eyeliner: Sumita Beauty in Taisha and Aisha

A color story. Yes. Light greens and blues, how relaxing. It kind of reminds me of the beach, don't you think? That rhymed...awkward...well not really, but sort of strange. Right now I have been crushing on the colors Sea Foam and Mint and it seems as though these colors are pretty much everywhere but even if they may be considered trendy colors (at least at the moment), I truly hope they wont go away! I haven't seen these colors on a lot of skin hues but I am 100% sure that these colors look good on every skin tone!

So I am thinking about doing one of these color story's once a month to showcase a color I am really loving at the moment. What do you guys think? Yay or nay? Leave a comment below.
