Blessed

Blouse: Loft | Jeans: Hollister | Heels: Tory Burch (old)

Mmm! Yummy!

Cute little mason jars repurposed for foods and drinks.

A few nights ago my family and I went out for a special occasion to a cute and new restaurant. It was Italian and urban inspired, cute decorations and amazing food! This top from Loft is absolute perfection! The lace trimming on the sleeves and the flowyness ( this is probably not even a real word) of the top reminded me of an angel.
I can honestly say that I have the most AMAZING friends in the whole wide world! They are so supportive, kind, sweet, caring, helpful, funny and have so much more incredible qualities. They are always there to help me out and to surprise me with spectacular gestures to show their love.  I can honestly tell them that I am so very thankful to have such great people in my life and cant wait to spend more time with them and to create a lot more great memories with them. These people probably know who they are, so if they (you) are reading this, I just want to tell you thank you SO MUCH for being so amazing towards me and that I am truly blessed to have such a wonderful friend like you in my life.
It is very important to share your feelings with the people in your life because you never know what you have until it is gone.
Okay, thats my little philosophical bit...

Sporty

Sports Bra: Target | Tank: Nordstrom (old) | Leggings: Marshall's | Shoes: Reebok
 What am I doing??

 Opah!

Lately I have been noticing that sports clothing has become more fun with bright prints, cool designs, and different fabrics. Therefor, I decided to try it out for myself. Besides, I already have plenty of colorful things in my closet. After deciding what I could actually wear on a hike, this was the product. I am very happy with it because I dont need to go out and buy new, expensive designer sportswear, I already have it for cheap! (Theres the little bargainer in me(: )
Today I went on a very breathtaking (literally as well), scenic hike with a few friends up the mountains. We went in the morning when the weather was still cool. It was a very nice hike, we climbed on the side of rocks on the mountains and felt like the goats that do that, well at least I felt that way, I don't know if my friends felt that way, but I know, strange.
Thats all for now!

EDGE.

Dress: Lulus*s | Bag: Ralph Lauren (old) | Boots: Steve Madden
Necklace: Tiffany&co. | Bracelet: Nordstrom (old) | Watch: Michael Kors | Ring: Nordstrom (old)

Today I was feeling very bada$$ (oh, Im so cool [sarcasm]) with my freshly straightened hair and super cool dress. The dress is from Lulu*s and was my very FIRST online purchase, which I nervously bought, fearing the fabric would not be nice or that the dress would look bad. BUT, when this baby arrived in the mail a few days after purchasing it, I loved it! Except, there was one major flaw. The straps were too long! Not sure what to do, I decided to cut the straps in half and re-sew them to actually ft me and not drape me like a blanket, and it worked! Now it thankfully looks very nice on. I paired it with combat boots, spiky jewelry and a skull ring for extra effect. My friend and I named the ring Kelly, Why? I have no idea, for fun I guess( Yes, we named an inanimate object....)
Anyway, I hope everyone is having a very thoughtful memorial day. I want to thank all of the troops for all of their hard work and dedication for fighting for this country and for risking their lives for everyone else to be safe.
Thank you all and have a good long weekend!

Fuchsia

Jacket: Forever 21| Tank: Hollister (old) | Skirt: Soprano via Nordstrom Rack | Shoes: Vince Camuto
 Necklace: Tiffany&co. | Watch: Michael Kors | Bracelet: Nordstrom(old) | Bag: Ralph Lauren(old)

Hi all, I hope you guys are having a relaxing and fun memorial break! Thankfully, all my finals are completed so I get to enjoy not having to study for anything for the rest of the school year. My stress levels have decreased and I am finally getting a normal sleeping pattern again (which I have so desperately craved). I wore this outfit to a brunch with some close friends of mine for an early birthday. The venue was perfect for what all of us were wearing, the place had a golfing range and a barn, it was very much like the countryside. I honestly think that this is my NEW most favorite outfit ever (I know, I have great grammar). The color of the skirt is so vibrant as well as being super flowy in the light breeze (which was a plus for taking pretty pictures). I paired it with the tank to add some fun texture to it and tucked it into the skirt to make it look somewhat like a cropped top (partially because if I wore it not tucked in, it would look strange). It was honestly one of the best days I have experienced in a long time. Well, that all for now!
Thank you!

Yacht

Dress: Vintage | Shoes: Vince Camuto | Earrings: Betsey Johnson | Broaches: My Moms| Bracelt: Nordstrom (old)
 *Clink*

 Marilyn Monroe moment

This dress is AMAZING!!! The style and cut is so great, plus it has some history to it. This dress is my moms dress, until I decided to sneak it into my closet. (I wish I could put an emoji here). Anyway, my mom got this dress from a small boutique in Italy in 1993, only wore it two or three times, and it still remains impeccable. She wore this dress once to my aunts wedding shower, before I was born, and now its my turn to wear it at a party for a really close family friend of my mine!
The dress is a bit big on the waist, so I decided to pin it with one of my moms broaches to make it fit and to add some sparkle.
It was hard trying to accessorize the dress because it is so magnificent, brilliant, and different. I ended up figuring out how to accessorize it by adding simple and small bracelets and earrings on.
I have a few more finals left until I am free, but I need to push for one more day and then I technically don't have any more work! Woohoo!
I have to finish studying now, xox

Nautical

Blazer: Nautica | Tank: Hollister (old) | Jeans: Hollister | Shoes: Sperry Top Sider
Necklace: DIY | Watch: Michael Kors | Bracelet: Nordstrom (old)

I felt a bit like a sailor the other day while attending the Nordstrom event. Maybe it was because of the striped shirt and the boat shoes, but whatever it was, I liked it! I am a really big fan of reusing clothes that you have not worn in a long time, such as this shirt. It is a really great way to wear something "new" and to be able to reinvent/style the article of clothing.
I absolutely love my shoes! I have been eyeing these boat shoes for quite a while now, and I have finally gotten them! You can wear them with shorts, cute skirts, jeans, and summer dresses...the possibilities are endless. Plus they are supper comfy and have good foot support. I definitely recommend them!
Well its finals week for me, so I have a bunch of tests I need to go finish studying for. Yay me...
Have a nice week!

Jules Loves Nordstrom

Conversing with the super stylish Jules
I gained a lot of knowledge in those brief five minuets I had with her..
Say Cheese!
Yummy strawberry macaroon!

Some of Jules top picks from the Savvy department

Yesterday I had the privilege of meeting with the amazing Jules from the blog Sincerely, Jules. Thanks to Nordstrom, Jules was able to host this event in the Savvy department, talk to her readers and go shopping and style them! She talked to everyone individually, with a warm smile on her face willing to give any advice to anyone. In my brief five minuets with her, she gave me a welcoming smile and hug and asked for my name. Immediately, I was starstruck, as if I were meeting Jlo. One question I asked her was how to get more views for a blog. She told me the number one thing is to be consistent, post everyday, and show something fresh to your readers every time. She also said to brand yourself, give out business cards with your blogs name on it, etc.  Very good advice! Hopefully I will become more consistant, something I have a lot of difficulty with due to all of the exams I have this week. But its almost summer so hopefully I will post at least once a week.
There were also yummy little refresments at the event such as macaroons, apple cider, and chocolate mousse that were handed out to you while you were shopping the cute savvy department.
I was supposed to go do a little dress shopping with her but unfortunately, because of a tight schedule, I had to leave :(
Overall it was an amazing experience and I am glad I was able to attend!
Have a good rest of your weekend!
